Finding out you have SDAM can bring up very different reactions. Some people are devastated, some are relieved, some are worried, and some are simply curious. All of them are okay.

The SDAM Support Group is a free, recurring online space for people with SDAM to connect, share experiences, ask questions, and support one another. Conversations may include memory, identity, relationships, imagination, emotional experiences, coping strategies, and the everyday practical effects of not being able to voluntarily re-experience personal memories.

The floor is open for honest conversation. No one is required to perform, explain, or have the “right” experience. Just an opportunity to meet others, talk honestly, and listen to people who understand.
